Out of the ashes (or perhaps that should be the crumbs) of Mr Biscuits came Dunedin three piece hyper-melodic guitar-pop ‘boy band’ Males. This song, from their first 4 song EP (released last year on limited edition 7″ lathe-cut as well) epitomises the rush of their sound: from Sam Valentine’s soaring overdriven bass runs to Richard Ley-Hamilton’s spacey guitar and helium-voiced singing.
It’s perfect. It’s pop. No more to say. Except download this EP of course.
